Vision Statement
We look forward to watching our students become leaders in their communities and future teachers of our programs. We envision a future where dancers of all backgrounds are valued and seen in their communities; a future world where individuals live boldly in their truth and joy.
Values
We believe in community, celebrating our differences, coming together through a shared love of movement, and giving back to the beautiful people who surround us.
We believe in health, both physical and mental, and the holistic value that dance adds in support of both individual and community health.
We believe in empowering people through art, encouraging them to share their stories, find their voices, and live in their truths.
We believe in artists of all ages, races, and backgrounds, approaching dance education as a stepping stone to both professional arts careers and community leadership roles.
History
E.N.A. was founded in 2015 by Enakshi Vyas out of a need for more diverse dance programs in Marin County. Seeing a lack in holistic dance approaches, mentorship programs, scholarship opportunities, and diverse curriculums, she set out to create a more inclusive, empowering, and creative dance experience. In the years since, our programs have reached cities around the globe and throughout our home in the San Francisco, Bay Area. Our students range from pre-school to adults, professionals and enthusiasts, from our studios, private arts institutions, and universities alike. We have participated in and contributed to a range of community outreach programs in Marin County, Santa Clara, and Sacramento. Our performing company and team of instructors have had the privilege of spreading the power of dance throughout the United States, India, Athens, Madrid, and Toronto.
Elite Naach Academy is an Arts Equity Champion and proud member of the Teaching Artist Guild.

A Marin County native herself, she has trained and taught throughout the Bay Area in a variety of styles including but not limited to Jazz, Tap, Kathak, Bharata Natyam, West African Dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Indian Folk styles, and Bollywood dance. Her primary formal training occurred under the direct guidance of Pandit Chitresh Das in Kathak as part of his original Youth Company. Enakshi has since served as guest faculty for Dominican University Dance Department, the Marin School of the Arts, Dance Attack Los Gatos, and the Performing Arts Academy of Marin. She brings a fresh touch to traditional forms of movement by mixing her diverse range of styles into choreography.
Since the inception of Elite Naach Academy Enakshi’s had the privilege of working with Shakti Mohan, Manpreet Toor, Sneha Mistri, Anna Dimitratou, and a variety of other artists through tours, collaborations, and classes world wide. Her company bookings have taken her to the Bollywood & Multicultural Festival in Greece, various stages in Los Angeles, New York, London, Toronto, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Denver, Jodhpur, and of course around the San Francisco, Bay Area.
As the director of E.N.A. she instructs a variety of stylistic backgrounds and cultures, providing her students with a more complex and diverse dance curriculum. She strives to create a safe space for dancers to explore their versatility, ignite their passion, and find their story. Enakshi wants to make a difference not only in the talent and technique of her students, but in their confidence and ability to shine both on and off stage.
