Are you looking for a unique camp experience for your child between the ages of 4 to 12? Look no further than Éducation Française Bay Area's (EFBA) ACA-accredited French immersion summer camp!

Our program offers a fully immersive language experience for French speakers of all levels and is staffed with counselors from France.

With exciting weekly themes ranging from space missions to pirate treasure hunts, your child will have a blast while building lifelong French language skills. They'll also have the opportunity to discover new cultures and build a lifelong motivation for the pursuit of French learning. Check out our website for all of our exciting 2023 themes!

Why EFBA?

Research shows that immersion in French is the best teaching program to promote bilingualism.
The play-based aspect of our activity schedule allows children to take pleasure in the language.
Our immersive camp allows children to acquire language and/or reduce the loss of language during summer.
Each week of camp gives your child approximately 50 hours of language immersion!
The supervision ratio of 1 adult to 6-8 children gives children a choice of activities.
Each week has a different theme, linked to an element of Francophone culture, around which activities are focused.
Camps are for all children, regardless of their level of French (from beginner to bilingual).

Prerequisites

Cancellation Policy

Processing registrations and onboarding campers is a time-consuming process. In addition, due to our high supervision ratio, every registration affects our nonprofit budget.

For these reasons, any cancellation is subject to a $5o processing fee. Other conditions apply, as stated below:

Summer Camp Program Cancellation Policy

Eligibility for refund is based on the time of the year when a cancellation request is submitted.

For cancellation requests submitted between January 11, 2023 to March 15, 2023, a cancellation fee of $50 per week will be charged for each week canceled.

For cancellation requests submitted between March 16th, 2023 to May 15, 2023, a cancellation fee of $150 per week will be charged for each week canceled.

Cancellation requests submitted on or after May 16, 2023 are firm and not eligible for any reimbursement.

When availability allows, you may be able to switch registration to a different week. This may not be possible if the week you’d like to switch to is full. Please reach out to admissions@efba.us to verify availability.

In case of a medical emergency, prorated reimbursement or credit-value may be discretionarily granted by EFBA on condition that they provide official proof / supporting documentation by an MD. For Covid-19, families have to provide documentation by an MD, or a positive Covid-19 test made by a laboratory (home-tests will not be accepted).

When applicable, refunds are processed within 90 days by check or store credit.

Aftercare Cancellation Policy 2023

For cancellation requests submitted between March 16th, 2023 to May 15, 2023, a cancellation fee of $50 per aftercare week will be charged for each week canceled.

Cancellation requests submitted on or after May 16, 2023 are not eligible for any reimbursement.

(French Immersion Summer Camp)

They definitely offer the best immersion camps of the Bay Area, similar to what we have in France. Their camp counselors come from France or other French-speaking countries. I highly recommend :)
