Yes, you can purchase badges through the Girl Scout Shop. We do not sell the badges directly, but we do include fun patches with all of our fun patch workshops. Here is the link for the Fling Flyer badge: https://www.girlscoutshop.com/Brownie-Fling-Flyer-Design-Challenge -

For the SCIENCE OF FLIGHT class, are we just learning how paper airplanes work, or will we learn about how real planes fly as well? (Online Girl Scouts: Science of Flight) -

They will be learning about the forces that affect flight, but we use paper airplanes to experiment with those forces. We need to make sure we get through all of the badge requirements, so we do not focus on real planes in this workshop. -

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps. Hopefully, I covered the program you are interested in. If not, please let me know so I can clarify. Thanks for your interest, Tonya -
