Girl Scout Workshop: Halloween Potions

My daughter attended the Girl Scout Home Science badge class with a friend and had a great time. Of course she loved making slime, but working with dry ice was something new and exciting that we probably would have not thought to do at home. It was a full class and I was thankful for her experience to work in a group with other girls she had just met.

I highly recommend this course and the instructor. My daughter attended the Halloween Potions event on 11/2/19 where she earned the Brownie Home Scientist badge. The class was hands-on and interactive, and she enjoyed mixing the various elements together and watching the chemical reactions. She also enjoyed the process of making green slime the most.

This was the first time I brought my girls to the center. They loved it so much they didn’t want to leave. They asked to go back again.

The event was awesome! I have recommended Discover Science Center to other parents and will continue to participate in the events.

Activities were age appropriate. The leaders did a great job keeping their attention. I highly recommend them!

Great workshop - my 6 yo really enjoyed it. We look forward to more.

Very fun and educational for my Girl Scout who loves slime and mixing different components.

The whole Team kept the Girls involved, interested and happy! I love the flow of the activiity and how well organized the whole event went. From instructions to clean-up, great activity!

The Girl Scout Halloween class was excellent! The instructor was great at explaining things so the kids understood. My daughter loved mixing the chemicals and watching the reactions and of course the best part...making slime.

Our first-grade Daisies had so much fun doing the Space Explorer and Mad Science Potions!! They told me they want to go back for more classes. I think they learned a lot and really enjoyed the hands-on activities.
