MINI-MED SCHOOL: NERVOUS SYSTEM (Brownies through Ambassadors) – Online Workshop
Saturday, March 19 - 3:30-4:30pm (eastern time)

Girls learn about the nervous system as they study the anatomy of a sheep brain and watch a demonstration of a cow eye. Girl Scouts receive a Brain Fun Patch (note this is not an iron-on patch, it must be glued or sewn).

MINI-MED SCHOOL: CIRCULATORY SYSTEM (Brownies through Ambassadors) – Online Workshop

Sunday, November 20 – 2:00-3:00pm (eastern time)
Saturday, March 19 – 12:30-1:30pm (eastern time)

Girl Scouts study the circulatory system as they investigate components of blood by creating a blood model and learn the anatomy of a heart by watching a demonstration of a sheep heart dissection. Girl Scouts receive an Anatomical Heart Fun Patch (note this is not an iron-on patch, it must be glued or sewn). Pick up and shipping options available:

  • Roswell-area participants may pick up supplies  at least 24 hours after registration from 10am-5pm (Monday-Friday) at 2500 Old Alabama Rd, suite 5, Roswell. 
  • Supplies can be shipped for an additional cost ($6.50). Please allow at least 10 days for shipping option.

Girl Scouts learn about our respiratory system and create a model of our lungs to see how we breathe. Girl Scouts receive a Lung Fun Patch (note this is not an iron-on patch, it must be glued or sewn).

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps.
