Questions & Answers
Hello, will Daisy Scouts fulfill all of the requirements for the Think Like An Engineer badge? Is there anything else they will need to do independently or with their troop to earn the badge (excluding the Take Action project for the Journey)? (Online Girl Scouts: Engineering Challenge) -

For this workshop, the girls have three engineering projects to complete. They will not be able to finish them all during our 1-hour online workshop, but we will get them started with all of them and they can finish once the workshop is over. As long as they share what they did with you, they will have completed requirements 1 and 2, and no not have to do anything with their Troop unless it is required by your Troop Leader. The Take Action requirement would have to be done separately. Hope this helps! -

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps. Hopefully, I covered the program you are interested in. If not, please let me know so I can clarify. Thanks for your interest, Tonya -
