HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE LABS
Fridays, Feb 1-May 3 (no labs Feb 15, Feb 22, Mar 29, Apr 5)
10:00am-12:00pm
Ages 14+
Students learn laboratory techniques and perform hands-on chemistry and biology experiments to supplement their high school chemistry and biology curricula. This is a lab-only course, and students are expected to know the academic material BEFORE attending each week’s lab (this is not a lecture course). A brief review of relevant material starts each lab, followed by a lab period which includes lab preparation, experimentation and clean-up. Students work semi-independently to conduct each lab, maintain a lab notebook and complete reports for each investigation. Course fees include all lab materials.

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps. Hopefully, I covered the program you are interested in. If not, please let me know so I can clarify. Thanks for your interest, Tonya -
