ARCHEOLOGY

Ages 8-10

Students learn about the study of human history, practice scientific methods used to find and examine man-made artifacts, and use archeological evidence to interpret information about different cultures from the past.

  • Stratigraphy – Monday, February 11
  • Pictographs and Petroglyphs – Monday, February 25
  • Prehistoric Habitats – Monday, March 4
  • Archaic Tools – Monday, March 18
  • Shipwrecks – Monday, March 25
  • Expeditions of Landscapes – Monday, April 8
  • Archeological Ceramics – Monday, April 15
  • Symbolism and Myths – Monday, April 22
  • Ecology and Environmental Influences – Monday, April 29

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps.
