My daughter was very excited to attend Movie Science camp last Friday during her school holiday. Unfortunately, it looked much better online than in reality. According to her, the experiments were not actually tied to anything in the movies and there was very little scientific explanation of the experiments. Add to that the fact that they stated the kids could bring technology for break time, but then refuse to disclose the WiFi password. My daughter wanted to check in with me via text and she was unable to do so because of that. The last item I’ll mention is that age 5 to 11 is much too wide anrange. My daughter (9) had a 5 year old hanging onto her most of the day and the teachers saw nothing wrong with it even though she expressed that it bothered her. We won’t be recommending or attending any more camps there.

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps. Hopefully, I covered the program you are interested in. If not, please let me know so I can clarify. Thanks for your interest, Tonya -
