The activity itself seemed to be enjoyed by most of our Brownie scouts. However….with a ratio of 16 girls to 1 lone instructor, it was chaotic, at best. My co-leader and I were the only adults in attendance jumping in to assist. It was frustrating to have to basically work the event because staffing was inadequate at the facility. A fellow parent who has attended other events recently said that all of the events she and her girls have attended have also only had one instructor for a roomful of girls.

I have refunded your girl scout’s registration since you were dissatisfied. It is a challenge to staff our events that have multiple last minute registrations because we try to keep the cost of our workshops as low as possible so it does not price out girls that would like to participate. Thanks for trying us out and for your feedback.

What a great week of camp! My children had a blast- dissecting owl pellets, growing sea monkeys, exploring on daily hikes and more. The most impressive thing was the knowledge they came home to share with us. Various facts about plants, local animals and how to respect the wild were our nightly conversations. Their weekly journal was amazing, they are so excited for the rest of the summer! The counselors did a tremendous job keeping them interested and fostering learning in a fun environment. Cannot recommend this camp enough!
