What Makes Destination Science Camps Unique?

When you choose a Destination Science STEAM robotics camp, your child will get a unique summer experience that emphasizes building social skills as much as acquiring knowledge. Our teachers use hands-on activities to engage kids in learning. The children work together to get projects done, which helps them meet new people and play alongside children from diverse backgrounds. Other reasons our robotics summer youth programs stand out include:

  • Lasting value: Your child can bring the projects they finish home and use them over and over again, like the robot kit.
  • Curiosity fostering: We encourage kids to ask questions, which will serve them well as they continue through school.
  • Standout teachers: Our carefully screened staff has years of experience and excels at motivating our campers.

Not a fun time for my 6 year old. It was struggle to get my kiddo into this camp daily, The kids had near zero time outside and (I was told) it was more like a classroom where kids couldn’t play and were expected to “sit” most of the day. Of course I wasn’t there but for the money paid vs facility housed and daily updates from my kid this is a no go for us but maybe fun for others.
Questions & Answers
Does the camp provide snack and water? Do we need to pack the lunch&snack&water on our own? Thanks. (Space Base Astronaut Camp) -

Please send a healthy lunch packed in an insulated bag or cooler. Destination Science recommends a morning snack and if they like also an afternoon snack! They suggest 2 water bottles per day, kids like it when they have a frozen bottle keeping their lunch cold, it will be somewhat slushy in the heat of the afternoon & soooo refreshing! -
