Saturday Camp

Saturdays Camps (Burbank)  -  Open to Kids ages 5-8 - Spanish | French | Mandarin are a perfect option for busy kids during the week who want to just have fun with the language and learn more about the culture in a small group setting.

It’s a wonderful time to make use of your student’s Saturday mornings and learn more about the colorful traditions in the different Spanish and French speaking countries . This program starts at 9:00am and runs through 12:00pm and carefully organizes this time and  your kids in meaningful activities, such as learning or perfecting their language skills.

Singular and tested strategies are used in making sure kids learn and retain the material presented each day. 

At Saturday Camp, using all four skills, kids practice in depth theme-related vocabulary and sentence structures, simple and complex commands and lots of culture are all introduced and practiced each day. Lovely and self-assessed student led presentations are displayed at the end of the camp. They will encourage your child and bring a smile to you.

Native speaking and caring teachers and avid students will focus during this time  in living out as much as possible the main colorful traditions celebrated.

Lots of engaging activities and loads of fun. Making crafts, learning catchy songs and traveling through stories and short skits our students will want to actually get to know up close about these countries.

Parents, kids and teachers can feel safe.

🧤 Open to kids ages 5-8. Ten students to 1 teacher. Group classes are separated and differentiated by age and level and language.

🧤 Campers will be exposed to lots of time in fun through "intro" to all 4 skills as well as tons of cultural and interactive activities. 

🧤 “Total immersion" approach which mimics the natural approach of a mom with her child through games and culturally relevant crafts and activities.

🧤 Each “Saturday Camp will focus on games and activities pertaining the language of enrollment.

🧤 Current and potential Dual-language students welcomed and will definitely benefit.

🧤 Camp is half day with a thirty-minute break.

🧤 Kindly pack enough food for breaks. SNACKS are not included. 

🧤 ONLY target language throughout the morning! All levels are welcomed.

🧤 Each Saturday your student, alongside other kids of his/her age and level, will be learning indoors and out, specific topic such as the “greetings”, “house”, and the “body” from all 4 different skill’s approach: speaking, listening, reading and writing, through fun and competitive activities and, sprinkled with a whole lot of culture.

🧤 Competitive and team games, songs, dance, arts and crafts are included.
