Campers  will be involved in unique daily activities giving them an entirely new experience every day. First 10 registrations get a free bucket of slime!  Plus other take-aways throughout the week.

Our STEAM camp is designed to keep kids engaged in a fun, balanced and structured environment. We give our campers a strong STEAM foundation to continue their thirst for learning. Our camp is a week long themed program of learning and fun for students who have a wide range of interests. Early drop-off/extended care available.

April 6 - 10, 2020: S.T.E.A.M. Everywhere!

This will be an action-packed week of hands-on fun covering a wide range of activities that will include:

- "Dissection of an alien" - campers will be using dissection tools to dissect the alien and save the hunter from the gooey slime filled belly of the creature. In doing so, campers will learn about the human body and its internal workings.

- "Dragon Attack" - campers will learn about variables and cloning as they create a multi-level action game, design boss fights, and program A.I. to save the princess. This experience will take campers through the process of optimizing a flying machine.  Each student will learn how to fly quad-copters in a closed and controlled environment.

- "Diverging Drones" - campers will be flying drones, studying the laws that now govern UAV flight, and building a solid understanding of drone flight patterns. Our aeronautic engineers will aim to reteive the treasure at the end of the flight.

- Culinary Academy - Aprons – check, gloves – check, chef's hat – check! Every camper's favorite, we will be making cheesy quesadillas for students to enjoy.

This camp is for very young children. Not for ages of 11 - 13 at all. My daughter was disappointed and the lunch was ill prepared, not chef quality. Additionally, there were no STEAM activities planned at all, only UNO(card game) and Bingo. This does not qualify as STEAM for any age group.

Not the value that I have normally to ActivityHero. Extremely disappointed.

Love, Love, Love this camp! My little girl is a tough customer, but she settled in very quickly at this camp. Maya is the director and Faisa was her teacher. Both were warm and loving, and I was grateful to have such a diverse group of kids for her to learn and socialize with!

I highly recommend STEAM Summer Camp!! Maya and her teachers are fantastic. They turn subjects that the kids already have an interest in like video games, playing with drones, or even eating desert, and they turn it in to more fun by pulling back the curtain and exposing them to the science behind it all, while having fun at the same time! All while giving them a new foundation of learning like coding and science. The kids really enjoyed it!
