Recruitment and Screening:

• Our staff recruitment is a testament to our community's trust, primarily hiring through recommendations from current staff, family, and trusted business associates in Tamarindo.
• Each candidate undergoes a thorough interview process, including checks on additional job references and an evaluation of their soft skills, prioritizing their ability to care for and inspire our students.

Background Checks:

• While formal background checks are not standard due to local regulations, we conduct rigorous reference checks through our community network, ensuring each staff member is known personally and trusted.

Training and Certifications:

• Our staff, including teachers, counselors, and guides, are certified in CPR and basic first aid, with some trained for rescue in extreme conditions, ensuring the utmost safety of our participants.
• We adhere to a strict Code of Conduct to prevent sexual misconduct, with our main teachers and guides trained to prevent and denounce any sexual misconducts, especially related to the tourism industry.
• We are certified as a Sustainable travel company and part of the Essential Costa Rica brand, reflecting our commitment to ethical and responsible practices.
