It feels important to share our negative experience at Cooking Round the World, as I wish I'd read this review. This is a camp that is not set up for kids with diverse needs - definitely not neurodiverse kids or kids with ADHD, but really just kids' needs in general (unless your child likes sitting still for hours, being in a very rigid environment, ironically not eating for hours, etc.). They are very inflexible about being responsive to simple/easy requests for inclusion supports that other camps go out of their way to provide (they say things like, "That's not how we do things, and that's not our program; if you don't like it your child can go home."). They have strange rules that get in the way of kids' needs and undermine their ability to have a good time -- like kids not being allowed to bring their water bottles to the park. This was the worst experience we've had attending a camp in the Bay Area.
