Overview

Join our club for engineering fun, coding, typing activities, graphic design fun, MATH & SPELLING and more. This one hour S.T.E.A.M. club motivates our youth to learn more about computer science topics and the limitless career opportunities they will choose from when they are older.

In the meantime they are learning important academic and computer science skills to use for a LIFETIME. Each class is filled with different projects including designing rovers, roller coasters, making Minecraft or Roblox characters, spelling, typing and so much more! Join for several dates to get the most benefit from all the computer science activities.

You can enroll in 1:1 PERSONAL TUTORING for this class where we schedule an appointment to meet.

Halfway through students participate in our Virtual Dance Party to stretch their muscles.

Our room operates on Eastern Time, so if you live in a different time zone be sure to log on 1, 2 or 3 hours before posted time.

Questions & Answers

Because of the wide age difference, how is the class taught/paced and how do younger kids do with this type of class? (S.T.E.A.M. Hour) -

Hello! I provide different material to each student based on their knowledge of the subject. Younger students do a fantastic job managing the class. Ages 5 & 6 may need a little help at first and then they catch on. Hope to teach your child important computer skills! -

Can you use a chromebook for this course? (S.T.E.A.M. Hour) -

Hello! I have had many students use Chromebooks and they work and some do not, mostly the ones that do not, lag in video, audio. I believe it depends on how new they are because of memory size. We can try it and if it does not work I can refund you. Thx! -

Does my child need to have laptop, computer or can an ipad with keyboard work to attend your class?

Hello! A desktop or laptop computer, even a newer Chromebook works best. The IPAD we can try, however, some of the activities do not load because of the limited memory on them. Hope to see you soon! -
