Our students are engaged in FUN typing activities that will reward them with confidence in knowing the keyboard to type for the rest of their life!
Typing is taught in ALL of our S.T.E.A.M. hour classes if the time of this class does not work for you. Look for the Blue Banner S.T.E.A.M. hour-Various Times or MATH, TYPING & SPELLING class or 1:1 PERSONAL TUTORING or our Typing & Coding class!
Younger students in K-2nd will enjoy fun keyboarding activities, learning where the letters are on the keyboard. They will be using a hunt & peck style of typing while engaging in our typing program helping them to remember where the letters are on the keyboard.
Older students in 3rd-6th will do activities where they will have to type words, sentences or paragraphs in our fun and engaging typing activities. We will also engage in a typing test each class to see the progress the student has made in wpm and accuracy.
It is recommended students take this course several times to advance their words per minute and take typing drills to see where their accuracy and wpm have improved.
MOST of our programs have typing lessons in each class, so be sure to check them out. Half-way through our session students participate in our special virtual dance party stretch.
Our zoom room operates on eastern time, so logon 1, 2 or 3 hours BEFORE noted class time if you live in a DIFFERENT time zone.
