This class is 1.25 hours of learning computer science skills, specifically, Typing & Google fun!
Students will design a mini project in Google Slides and learn the design tools they need to create a presentation and learn Google Docs for typing school papers.
FUN typing activities will increase their Words Per Minute and accuracy. Their mini project can be about their favorite themes, like, MINECRAFT, ROBLOX, UNICORNS, or any theme that inspires them!
Students will learn the basics or intermediate (older kids) functions of the computer. Navigation, slide bars, filing, pull-down menus, radio buttons, how to locate programs and more.
As always, kids participate in our VIRTUAL DANCE PARTY half-way through the session. This class is also offered for PERSONAL TUTORING by appointment.
*Our Zoom Room operates on Eastern time, so log on 1, 2 or 3 hours BEFORE this time if you live on the West Coast or in Central states.
*CUTOFF for registration is 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time in most cases to attend a class the SAME DAY.
