Summer In-Person Coding Camp

Our coding camps provide students, ages 8-14, a comprehensive coding education, including popular programming languages like Scratch, Python, JavaScript, and Minecraft Modding. With a low student-teacher ratio of 5:1, students receive personalized attention to complete coding projects with the help and resources they need. Our teachers are highly qualified Computer Science graduates and students from top US universities, who are carefully selected for both their coding skills and teaching ability. Code With Us was honored with the Small Business of the Year 2020 award by CA SBA. Our curriculum ranges from beginner to advanced AP Computer Science courses, tailored to each student's skill level and interests. Parents receive daily class updates and can request optional homework if desired.

Popular Camp Topics:

• Game Design with Scratch (Age: 6+): Learn to design interactive games using Scratch, a block-based visual coding language developed by MIT lab. Students can design interactive games and take ideas to reality using this easy to learn visual programming language.
• Software Development in Python (Age: 10+): Learn to design software and web applications using Python, a general-purpose and the most popular programming language by professionals. This topic will give a great introduction to fundamental programming concepts and the Python language.
• Web Design with JavaScript, HTML and CSS (Age: 10+): Learn JavaScript, one of the most powerful and flexible programming languages of the web that powers the dynamic behavior on websites. Students will learn programming fundamentals using JavaScript syntax. This topic will lay the foundation for using JavaScript in any environment.
• Creative Minecraft Modding (Age: 10+): Learn how to Mod Minecraft. Design your own mods, texture packs, and schematics and share your creations with your friends, family and Minecraft community. We will help your mod ideas into reality! (LearnToMod platform on PC / Mac. NO iPad or Tablet).
