Code Ninjas® Newport Beach serves the community by offering STEM education to kids from ages 4-14. At our centers, kids learn to code while building their own video games. They gain problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment.
Code Ninjas Newport Beach has been Recognized by STEM.org as the Gold Standard of STEm Education. Our approach is backed by research and proven to effectively foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
Ages 5-14: Coding and computer programming classes focused on project-based learning.
Code Ninjas CREATE Program (Ages 8-14):
-Kids learn to code by building video games and digital projects.
-Structured like a martial arts belt system, from white to black belt.
-Flexible scheduling through the Parent App for weeknight and weekend sessions.
-Programing Languages: Block Coding, JavaScript (text), & C#.
-Computer Science Teacher Association Alignment.
Code Ninjas JR Program (Ages 5-7):
-A foundation in coding and problem-solving using a visual, no-reading-required curriculum.
-Hands-on projects combined with storytelling and game-building (Code.org, ScratchJR, Scratch, Osmo, Typing, Mouse/Computer Skills, Snap Circuits, Artec Robotics.
-Concepts Learned: Algorithms/Sequencing, Loops, Events & Event Handlers, Synchronization, Parallelism, Conditionals, Decomposition, Debugging, Robotics, and Circuits.
