About
Chef Koochooloo
Chef Koochooloo’s international educational program blends humanity’s oldest means of socialization—cooking and eating together—with its most modern lessons. Our master chefs lead classes framed around recipes from a specific country or culture. As we prepare food together, kids learn about cooking-related math and science skills, and social-responsibility issues. Additionally, the lessons provide children with healthy cooking techniques to use over and over again at home with their families. We strongly believe in including all children in our program. Our class instructors are experienced in teaching children from diverse backgrounds and special needs. Children with physical, academic, or social disabilities are welcome and integrated to the class.

Chef Koochooloo was used by my kids in several programs. They really enjoyed the experience and became very curious on how to cook food that are likely to eat. They really like learning other countries costumes through food which is the main factor in understanding a culture that is different than ours. I would really recommend this class to anyone with kids eager to learn cooking and other countries.

I have been familiar with Chef Koochooloo's classes and summer camp programs for years. They are excellent with teaching young children basic cooking skills, nutrition, global awareness and introducing scientific concepts. My children have taken Chef K's classes and they thoroughly enjoy the activities. It is great to see my kids' excitement and desire to show me what they learned when the class is over.

Chef Koochooloo was a fun way for my child to learn about other countries’ cuisine. Because he made the foods himself, he was more willing to taste new foods!
