Carden Arbor View School

Carden Arbor View School is an independent, non-sectarian, CAIS-accredited school serving grades K-8 in the Inland Empire Foothills community of Upland. The school opened its doors in 1981 and, for over 42 years, has been serving families by providing academic excellence. 

The mission of Carden Arbor View School is to provide the highest quality education of the whole child using the Carden curriculum and philosophy - to educate with joy, growth, enthusiasm, dignity, and respect. The mission includes providing a moral and spiritual atmosphere for each child, which builds on family values.  

Carden Arbor View School is committed to being an exemplary Carden School. In pursuit of this vision, we will provide a well-trained and dedicated staff, ensuring a strong academic foundation utilizing the traditional Carden Educational Program.   We offer families a collaborative atmosphere that prepares the whole child for life. Carden Arbor View School invites students from the Foothill communities to join us for a Roaring Summer of adventure, fun, and learning. Designed for motivated and creative learners, our summer program, presented by experienced teachers, embraces the ideals of an education that includes joy, growth, enthusiasm, dignity, and respect. 

  • Our summer program combines a variety of enriching courses with several grade-level specific academic courses to ensure students receive an opportunity to make the most of their summer months at Carden Arbor View School.

Carden Arbor View School is accredited by the Carden Educational Foundation, California Association of Independent Schools(CAIS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) .  The school's administrative and governing bodies were commended in our last accreditation process for demonstrating clear vision and stewardship, as was the school community for their commitment to fostering good will, enhancing communications and enthusiastically supporting school activities.
