About
Camp Galileo

Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Camp Galileo, full of engaging STEAM projects, collaborative design challenges and classic camp fun, like silly skits, face painting and pie throwing. Every hands-on activity and outdoor game is designed by a team of educators, tailored by grade and calibrated for maximum fun and lasting learning.

Using the acclaimed Galileo Innovation Approach, our experienced staffers teach campers the mindset, knowledge and process they need to become bold, visionary innovators. Every day, kids transform their ideas into one-of-a-kind creations. And while the materials they use might be simple, the skills they learn along the way—how to creatively solve problems, fearlessly try new things and persist in the face of challenges—are profound.

“The camp was a place where my kiddo was able to learn, create friendships, and make some great memories. Everyday he left with a big smile on his face. As he said, ‘Best camp ever!’” - 2024 Galileo Family

Weekly sessions. 9am-3pm daily, with optional extended care from 8-9am and 3-6pm.

Our Staff

A summer camp is only as good as its staff. Our meticulous screening process guarantees your kids spend their summer with the best. Many of our staffers are professional teachers or educators. All of them are passionate about nurturing and inspiring your kid.

These talented, dedicated individuals greet your kids with off-the-charts levels of enthusiasm every morning (you may have to see it to believe it) and keep them excited, engaged and primed for new experiences all day long. We also have one of the lowest camper-to-staff ratios around, ensuring all of our campers have the support they need to take on new challenges and explore their boldest ideas.

Pros: My son enjoyed outdoor activities and loved the theme each day. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons: The length of time given for the each week project each day is only 30 minutes to 45 minutes. It would be nice if its extended for atleast 2 hours each day (example: Tropical Rainforest)

This was fine, my kid enjoyed it and the counselors seemed really spirited. I just don't know how good of a value this is given it is more expensive than some of the other camps and I'm not clear that there was a lot more activities.

Camp Galileo was both of my kids' favorite camp last summer. They loved the staff and brought home amazing projects, including a water blaster that my daughter designed, built, and used all summer.
