Our Staff

Artist Teaching Art!

We are a team of professional artists with great passion in teaching art.

  1. Passion for teaching children art is the #1 qualification when we recruit team members.
  2. All teachers are active Bay Area artists. We have passion for art. Several teachers are represented by Top US galleries.
  3. All of our teachers hold Master of Fine Art (MFA) or Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degrees. All of us have been through rigorous and professional US art school training.
  4. Our team members have a broad range of expertise, including pictorial art (drawing/ painting/ printmaking); spatial art (clay sculpture); photography; digital art.
  5. All our teachers have good children teaching experiences. Some also teach at college level. CalColor also conducts extensive training for all teachers.
  6. We are serious and responsible for every students. We treat all students as our own children.

In the 2023 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, students from CalColor Academy won a total of 170 regional and national awards!

Highly recommended! CalColor Academy offers amazing art classes Fremont! The instructors are fantastic, and the creative lessons truly inspire kids. A perfect place to nurture young artists!

Highly recommend! My son attended their summer camp last year. The teachers are extremely passionate about teaching art. They're very kind and warm hearted and caring. My son had a great time there. The school took a lot of hygiene procedures to ensure the safety of the camp in Covid. I will definitely send my 2 sons back this summer.
