Kids classes are a way to explore clay while expanding creativity, gaining problem solving skills and building clay techniques. As students continue to attend classes they will build skills, and can eventually become independent artist. You can join Tuesday class, Thursday class or both for more practice and skill building.
Our classes are taught by Jody Jaques an Art Educator of 25 years who specializes in independent instruction to children of all ages & abilities.
Classes continue to be masked and social distanced. We follow all recommended CDC guidelines.
Each month will follow this pattern:
Day 1: Throwing on the Wheel
Day 2: Throwing on the Wheel
Day 3 Handbuilding
Day 4 Glazing
Your projects will take 3 weeks to be completed, and you will receive a text or phone call when your projects are finished firing. We hold projects for 1 month and then they disappear from the store.
Here on the monthly focuses. Depending on your child's age and ability these can be changed to create a successful class for the individual child.
