After School Enrichment Class

In our after school enrichment program, kids have lots of fun building and learning during weekly one-hour classes focused on exciting themes like animals, space, amusement parks and sports, among many others.

Energy is essential to almost everything we do, from the lights in our homes and classrooms to the gasoline that fuels our cars. Introduce your students to the world of energy in all its amazing form. This unit explores many sources of energy from wind and solar power to biofuel and fossil fuel. Students will define terms like renewable, landfill, greenhouse effect and generator and build moving models of just some of the awesome ways we power our world.

Our trained, screened Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers lead a discussion related to that day’s model, using materials designed by educators to teach concepts across a variety of subject areas. Kids will learn about everything from gears, torque and friction, to geography, space exploration, weather and MORE!

We build…

Working with a partner, kids experience the hands-on fun of model building, from concept to completion. All of our models are designed by Bricks 4 Kidz® model designers, so you won’t find them on the shelves of your local toy store.

We play…

Free-play time rounds out the hour, giving kids an opportunity to develop their creativity.
