DANCE
Get ready to move and groove! In this interactive movement and dance class, students will experience different styles of creative movement and dance (ie. hip hop, creative movement, rhythm-based movement and more). Students learn to do more than just follow. They’ll learn how to express themselves through movement.
MUSIC ROCK
Music Rock offers simple yet effective drum lessons for beginners that bypass entry-level training. Students get behind a drum during their camp week to start learning how to play. Through drum lessons, group rehearsals and performances, students will learn introductory rudiments to drum fills and solos. Our core philosophy is that the best way for students to gain musical proficiency is through the performance-based music education. This is the only camp that will teach you to play the drums in a week. So get ready to become a Musician.
A few things to note:
- This is a different location than the regular Bricks4Kidz Milpitas. Another parent and I showed up at the wrong place at first.
- Drop-off time seems pretty flexible, with the folks there from at least 8:50 and some people showing up late.
- The cost for aftercare is slightly different on ActivityHero than if you go through the Bricks4Kidz site for some reason.
- They did watch a movie on Friday, so there is some screen time. Aftercare also seems like a free-for-all - not as structured.
- There is no chess instruction.
All that said, it's very well priced and my kid was very happy to go every day. I do think they can improve some of these things so it is even better, but I do recommend it.
