CRAZY SCIENCE

Young children are naturally curious and love to discover new things about the world around them. Big Science Experiments for young Kids helps them explore their inquisitive side with fun, hands-on experiments that introduce them to STEAM concepts.

This standout science camp for kids features:

  • Engaging experiments - Learning is a blast as kids explore basic scientific principles using everyday objects, like combining raisins and soda to see the effects of carbon dioxide in Dancing Raisins.
  • Avenues for investigation - Children will develop problem-solving skills as they learn to ask questions, gather information, make guesses, and explain their discoveries.
  • Simple directions - Kids can experiment with ease thanks to clear, step-by-step instructions that foster independent learning and require minimal supervision from adults.
  • Explicit icons - You’ll know how to properly plan thanks to labels that alert you to a possible mess, when you may need to step in, and how long it should take to successfully complete the experiment.
  • Campers will learn by doing science as they mix, launch, dig, dissect, observe, explore and so much more!

My 8 year old had a great time. He really liked the basketball and kung fu along with the chess.

A few things to note:
- This is a different location than the regular Bricks4Kidz Milpitas. Another parent and I showed up at the wrong place at first.
- Drop-off time seems pretty flexible, with the folks there from at least 8:50 and some people showing up late.
- The cost for aftercare is slightly different on ActivityHero than if you go through the Bricks4Kidz site for some reason.
- They did watch a movie on Friday, so there is some screen time. Aftercare also seems like a free-for-all - not as structured.
- There is no chess instruction.

All that said, it's very well priced and my kid was very happy to go every day. I do think they can improve some of these things so it is even better, but I do recommend it.

I will recommend this place. I have been looking for some place to send my kids for the summer camp. Then I get to see Bricks4kidz, it is a lego camp with other very interstellar activities such as drone, scratch, EV3, drawing robots etc. its avery fun camp and kids they love this place. Moreover, they learn more than lego building. I am very satisfied with their work and the way they handled all the kids.
