This week will have a variety of activities including Lego Robotics, Arts and Craft, Minecraft, Scratch, Coding, Indoor/Outdoor games, Sports and more!

Remote Control Automotive Mania

Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting camp! Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGOÒ wireless remote controls. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGOÒ components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. Campers will also learn how to magnify, diminish and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and in different directions. This camp is loads of fun and learning for budding builders. *All Campers take home a custom mini-figure.

EV3 Robotics Mindstorms

Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into advance intelligent CPU brick. Test their capabilities by moving an object with a robotic claw, building a robot that draws, or a creating a mouse trap. Our endless list of builds is sure to provide the complete fundamental components of robotics at best!

Scratch Programming 2.0

With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others. Scratch helps young kids learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. The ability to code (Drag & Drop) computer programs is an important for a child today. When kids learn to code (Drag & Drop) in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. Kids will learn how variables, parameters, data structure, If and else statements, loop and other tools work. It’s a drag and drop technique.

Minecraft 

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens. Experience the world of Minecraft with Lego bricks in this fun summer camp. Steve is jumping for joy as he introduces the newest members of his Minecraft® world. Campers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by building new mod and features, incorporating LEGO® Bricks. So, are you ready for the challenge?  Students will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft game.
