Bonjour NY is a premier French speaking camp located in the heart of NYC for children ages 3.5 to 11 from beginner French learner to fluent French speaker 


Imagine a summer…where your child learns how to bake bread à la française, plays football with a counselor from Senegal, can’t stop laughing while playing le chat qui rit, encounters des tigres and des lions at the Bronx Zoo, wishes a new best friend a hearty bon appétit before lunch, decorates a crown fit for a king or queen during Chevaliers de la Table Ronde week, teaches you his or her new favorite song “Aux Champs-Élysées” and puts on a spectacle for all to see how much fun we had!Welcome to Bonjour NY Camp!


At Bonjour NY, we teach French all day in a non-traditional language class format. Bonjour NY campers learn French through games and hands on activities. Every week, our campers go swimming, play various sports, go on exciting trips (amusement parks, dinosaur parks, farms…), engage in cooking class, Robotics, Glee and much more.

Our Staff

Bonjour NY’s staff join us mostly from colleges and universities within the USA and the Francophone world. Several staff members are also teachers and educators in various subjects. Having a good match between staff and camp is very important. We look for staff who are fluent in French and have strong skills in a teaching area, plus a GENUINE interest in working with children. We hire staff who come to camp to “give of themselves” to campers. Our staff also have the necessary levels of maturity, common sense, dependability, trust, and selflessness required in working with children. We have high expectations and requirements for behavior. All program staff are activity instructors or assistants.
