My son is 6 year-old and is the youngest child in the camp, he had a good experiences there that the curriculum is well developed for his age, teacher observed his interest and provided proper materials for him to work on the reading and math skills. It also involves some daily craft building activities outside of regular teaching time, Friday is a free pizza day and some screening time is provided. The kids are of different ages, my kid occasionally feels overwhelmed by some bigger kids' words, I reported to the teacher and he reacted immediately to address my concerns which is good. Overall, I would be willing to involve my kid to come again.

Thank you! I am happy to work with him in the summer camp and holiday camps as well. We always do our best to make sure our students learn and also have some fun. There is game time after lunch. Students can play chess, board games and table tennis. All our students love the prizes they earn for their outstanding work. I am looking forward to seeing him back to our camp.

The overall set up: kids were given a stack of worksheets to work on independently. There's a teacher who sits somewhere and just overlook the entire class doing no teaching except for when you can't solve a problem then you can go up to her/him. The experience feels very much like a test center, it's awfully quiet with minimal interactions with other humans. Do not recommend this place unless you just want someone to watch (literally) your child while working on worksheets.

It is supposed to be quiet when every student is working on their own packet. Interaction with other students is not allowed in the class because each of the student has their own material. Talking to other student could be disturbing. We prepare material according to each student's assessment. Student either review some topics that they are missing or go advanced. We have three teachers in the center during the summer camp. We do go around the class and check on the student from time to time and ask if they have questions. We grade each page they finish right away and make correction with the student right away. Unfortunately, this is not the type of environment you are looking for. But I believe most of my students love coming to the camp. And I have students returning to the center multiple weeks every year, even from overseas.
