Bear Valley Summer Day Camp

The Bear Valley Summer Day Camp is a place for local and visiting kids ages 5 to 12 and up to explore, learn, create, and play in the high Sierra Nevada mountains. With an emphasis on outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, climbing, paddling, and mountain biking, we hope to share our love of the natural environment and all it has to offer. Other activities will include nature science, crafts, games, and so much more. 

Our camp experience is woven with the core ethical values of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. We create fun and memorable experiences to give examples of these values.

Each week has a variety of special themed activities as well as plenty of regular planned favorites. Activity schedules are sent out to families ahead of time and include details like specific things to pack, meeting locations, and our Character Counts trait of the week.
