Our Sports Leadership Camp is "built for the big kids" with TWO FUN FIELD TRIPS packed into every week and a "design your own activity plan" for the days on campus!

Our 6th-8th grade campers will experience tangible leadership experiences throughout the week while staying super active and highly social amidst some quality travel experiences.

The Sports Leadership Camp is also a lead-in experience for those campers looking to transition into a coach position at Bald Eagle once they've aged out of our camp (entering 9th grade).  For youth entering 9th & 10th grade, we offer the premier leadership experience in the Bay Area, the Coach In Training Program (CIT).

Check out the camper videos on the CIT page that give you the inside experience of our leadership development camp system.  SLC is just another step in our system of helping your child flourish!

SLC PROGRAM FOR TUESDAYS - Bonding and Leadership Skills

> Campers will be taken by professional shuttle service to Rio del Mar Beach near Santa Cruz for the famous Sand Olympics!

> Experience our team bonding lessons where they realize that leadership takes a lot of roles, not just the person who gets up to do the talking.

> Have a picnic lunch together with their peers while enjoying the warm sea air then play, boogie board or learn to body surf while in front of a lifeguard station at a beach known for safe waves

> Bond with their peers and enjoy running, digging, and playing a myriad of beach games we bring and set up

SLC PROGRAM FOR THURSDAYS-Fun In Competition!

*On all trips campers are in groups with a coach, not roaming alone.

> THURSDAYS 6/19, 7/10 & 7/24 - Campers will be taken by professional shuttle service to California's Great America.  They will have supervised time with their peers to enjoy the rides and all that the theme park has to offer!  Campers will have time to stop and buy lunch and snacks of their choice (not included in camp fee) inside the park and spend quality time together!

SLC FINAL TEST FRIDAY! - This is where we see how they grew!

> They set up, execute and run the station they created for the younger campers at the Go Bald Festival.

> They "Create Energy & Positivity" for all the campers who visit them and modify their activity on the fly if it isn't going well, a true leadership skill

There’s positive energy the moment you walk in. Big kids inspire the smaller kids. And everyone just have a lot of fun.

I registered for 2022 summer camp-Multi sports. Now no one has replied to my emails or answered any phone calls. Calls all go to voice message box. I am not sure if this facility is still running.....
(Multi-Sports Summer Camp!)
May 8, 2019 - Alyssa Takigawa
Simply stated, Bald Eagle is AMAZING in all that they do! Several years ago, I sent my son to a variety of summer camps. Fast forward to this coming summer, the ONLY camp he wants to go to is Bald Eagle. (Three of the four weeks of summer camps will be spent at Bald Eagle.) He went to a winter break camp one year and on the first day, I showed up to pick him up to find him in tears. Turns out, he was upset that he was only signed up for the half day session because he wanted to stay the full day. Whenever family and friends comment on how much he enjoys Bald Eagle camp, he excitedly (and earnestly) exclaims that he wishes he could live there! From the enthusiastic and supportive camp leaders to the variety of sports activities, Bald Eagle does a fantastic job of harnessing kids' crazy energy levels. The kids come away with a stronger sense of teamwork and values that have applications not only in sports but in life. We even had Bald Eagle facilitate our last birthday party. My son and his friends had a blast with the Bald Eagle games and the parents unanimously appreciated the good old-fashioned, technology-free fun.
