About Our DJ Camps

Beat Refinery DJ Camp offers a crash course to the world of DJing. Open to beginners and amateur DJs, these camps will give you the fundamental skills you need to get started.

Our Beat Refinery camps are led by pro DJs, offering plenty of one-on-one instruction for each student. During camp, students get the chance to work with professional DJ equipment. We also introduce students to Serato DJ Pro and Ableton Live, two of the industry’s most popular programs for DJs and producers.

Beginner DJs will learn the fundamentals of mixing, scratching, and beat matching. Students with existing experience can use this opportunity to refine their skills or build new ones. Our DJ camps also include lessons in music theory for DJs and producers, along with career building tips for how to go pro!

After learning the basics, each student will develop a unique, 2-3 minute song mix. At the end of the camp, students perform their mix live! This way, each student gets a first-hand taste of what it’s like to be on stage.

Following this camp, students can enroll in DJ lessons for mixing, scratching, and music production. We also offer private DJ lessons, where you can build your skills one-on-one with a Beat Refinery instructor.
