Overview

Looking for an lively, fun afternoon activity to get your kids off their devices and moving, singing, dancing, playing?

The Bay Area Country Dance Society is holding a special afternoon Family Dance. Caller Susan Petrick will teach simple, easy-to-learn dances from American and British Isles folk traditions accompanied by live acoustic music from Craig Johnson (piano and accordion), Valerie Rose (fiddle) and Ben Saylor (Irish flute). Grab your kids, your grandkid, the neighbor's family, your parents, or just bring yourself for some lively afternoon looniness!

At the break, we'll have snacks, a chance to look at the musical instruments, juggling/stilting, and a short crafting activity by Family Week's Lorraine Kostka.
