Our Staff-in-Training program gives teens entering 11th – 12th grades a summer of hands-on adventure, learning and leadership. Designed to teach what it takes to become a leader at camp, this transformative two-week session imparts skills and confidence you’ll carry with you back to school and into future endeavors.
Working with a group of 1st – 6th graders at our Mt. Evans location, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor younger campers and guide them on daily outdoor adventures. You’ll roll up your sleeves to pitch in with camp operations and practice everything from activity planning to group management. You’ll receive specialized training in Leave No Trace principles and even try your hand at being a zipline guide. From kayaking with campers to communicating with parents to coordinating events, you’ll adventure and lead in countless meaningful ways.
How to apply: Within a week after you register, we’ll send you an application for the Staff-in-Training program. Our team will review it to assess whether the program is the right fit for you (if not, we’ll refund your tuition). Space is limited, so register early!
