About

My philosophy is to let kids paint what they choose, and work on improving their technique, and help them make a finished painting. I want them to give it a level of detail and polish that they would not usually not do themselves. This accommodates different levels of ability - everyone moves up a notch.  If they have a specific art style or project that they would like to do, let me know! I believe that we can get the best effort and enthusiasm out of kids when we let them choose what they want to do.

I like small class sizes (less than 8 kids) so that I can pay attention to each student. Your child will explore their creativity with acrylic paint and mixed media. They will learn about composition, technique, use of color, materials and textures. I love crafting and I have an array of craft projects that kids will enjoy.

Paint parties are for all ages - you can choose the picture you want to paint!

Both my kids took her Art class for a week this summer. They both had a good time and loved the freedom and guidance provided in trying out what they wanted to do and learn (acrylic, clay etc). Mrs. Gupta was very supportive and accommodative of the kids broad interest and skill levels.

My son has attended art classes and summer camps at Art by Anasua for many years in elementary and middle school. He had a wonderful experience learning art and has absolutely loved Anasua's art classes! He explored various types of subjects for his paintings and has enjoyed creating the mini projects from start to finish. Anasua is very patient with young kids and gives them freedom of thought and expression when selecting their art piece. She offered several mediums for making art projects including acrylic paint, charcoal, ceramics and glass painting for holiday ornaments. She guided them well and was always very flexible with their choice of projects. She is patient and lets students take their time in completing their projects. She is gentle and kind and is great at making the class structure fun and engaging for all age groups. I would highly recommend Anasua's art camps to young art lovers and learners.

My son attended Anasua's art classes after school and did several art camps over the summer. It was one of his favorite after school activities. He enjoyed being able to work on a project for several weeks before he got to bring it home and hang it up proudly on his bedroom wall. He has an entire wall covered with art he created during these classes.

My son learnt how to paint with acrylics using different brush shapes and sizes, and learnt techniques to better achieve different styles of painting. Canvas wasn't the only base they used in the classes. He also learnt to make sculptures out of clay and would paint those as well.

While my son primarily stuck to acrylic painting, there were many other things students could do, whether watercolor or drawing or making a DIY project.

Anasua allows each child to create art that is interesting to them. She guides them gently and helps to bring the best out of their creative vision. I would highly recommend this camp to all budding young artists.
