Academy by the Sea is an exclusive co-educational camp experience for bold, brilliant young people entering grades 7 through 12. During this two-week adventure, campers will learn the fundamentals of leadership while exploring an array of subjects like aviation, drone piloting, and aquaculture. Our innovative summer leadership camp program is focused on developing whole-person excellence. LEARN TO LEAD
Academy by the Sea isn’t just another summer camp. Participants will learn the foundations of leadership in a fast-paced, hands-on program based on a unique curriculum combining Junior ROTC fundamentals with modules from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point. Over two weeks, campers will learn how to be servant leaders and develop effective communication skills, self-confidence, teamwork, and time management through engaging activities and guided exploration.
EXPLORE NEW INTERESTS
Outside of leadership labs, campers can explore a variety of subjects taught by top instructors. Campers will get to experience the very best of the Academy’s aviation, aquaculture, and athletics programs and build fun projects at our newly renovated innovation center, full of flight simulators, 3D printers, screen printers, and other exciting maker equipment.
TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES
Summer camp is all about fun. We have an exciting schedule of trips and activities, including visits to local museums, obstacle, ropes, and paintball courses, beach outings, movie nights, a talent show, and other guided activities.
