About
American Eagle Productions

American Eagle Productions has blazed the trail for youth and educational theatre in the Chicagoland area, bringing the performing arts to over 300 schools and groups a year for the past 28 years. Our experience is catered specifically to students ages 4-13, teaching elements of acting, singing, and dance.  The students collaborate with a professional teaching artist as well as each other to develop new characters, write an original script, and design their own props and/or costumes.  The session culminates in an original performance, either virtual or recorded, to share with family and friends.

We believe the arts are an important part of a child's social and emotional development.  Our performing arts classes build confidence, foster empathy, and encourage collaboration as well as provide a safe space for children to express themselves.

Questions & Answers
Is there a performance? (Musical Theatre Camp: Hamilton) -
asked on May 19, 2021
May 20, 2021 - Jennifer Samples
Yes, the campers will collaborate to create their own musical play throughout the week and perform their original show on that Friday. With current COVID regulations, the 1-week camp performances will be filmed during class and the video will be emailed to parents to share with family and friends, rather than the campers performing in front of a live audience, in order to maintain a safe environment for the kids. -
