ACDS is more than just a school. It's a family, a community, and a wonderful place for kids to learn.

I have two boys, one who is currently a middle schooler and the other who is a freshman at Bellarmine College Prep. They are both wildly different from each other but they both discovered who they are while attending ACDS. Both of them started in PreK and over the years, I have seen them blossom with confidence, develop their interests, find new passions, advocate for themselves, and make lifelong friendships. Incredibly, our whole family found this one place so fulfilling for all of us. Both boys joined Speech & Debate, played sports, performed in musicals, and one of my boys thrived in social studies while the other loves his math classes. In addition, the school community is welcoming, warm, and fun. The teachers are truly invested in each child's success and they get to know each child well. It's such a comfort to raise our children together, looking out for each other, to have shoulders to lean on when you need it. We cannot recommend Almaden Country Day School enough.

I highly recommend Almaden country Day school. The community is welcoming, and the staff is excellent. Their program allows for children to play and have fun while excelling. Almaden Country Day School has amazing arts, music, and performing arts programs. Science and math are very strong without being competitive or high pressure so children can thrive. We love being part of the Almaden country Day school community.
(Makerspace Summer Camps)

My son loved the Escape Room makerspace camp at Almaden Country Day School -- he loves escape rooms in general and this camp allowed him to design his own in a team. His escape room included sensors for lights and sound, and of course, he had to create riddles to solve too. The grounds are beautiful and he was able to create inside the makerspace as well as outdoors. This school offers a lot of camps other than makerspace ones so he will be back to try others!
