Teens with autism have spent years learning how to be more social, interact appropriately, and make friends. At Advanced Pragmatics, our goal is take the social skills teens have learned at school and apply those skills in a highly functional, real-life setting. The misapplication of pragmatics leads teens and adults with Autism to struggle with making and keeping friendships, finding work, as well as succeeding in adulthood. At Advanced Pragmatics, we strengthen social skills, put them into practice and have fun doing it.
We offer summer programs that are structured around building of social and life skills that will ease the transition to adulthood by increasing independence and confidence.

Part of Brenna’s time is spent serving adult students ages 18-22 through an Adult Transition Program, where she teaches social skills in a highly functional setting. While working with a large population of teens and adults with Autism, Brenna found that many lack the opportunity for social interaction over summer break.Drawing from her 7 years of experience as a summer camp counselor and her work as a high school SLP, Brenna founded Advanced Pragmatics to serve people with social challenges, and give them an opportunity to build community and independence in a fun and safe environment.
