My 10-year-old has always been shy, and I wanted to find an activity that would help him come out of his shell. A coworker from Hartsville mentioned this karate school in Jamison, and it has been amazing. The coaches are warm and understanding, and the progress I’ve seen in just a few months is incredible. He’s not only learning karate but also valuable life skills like respect and perseverance. So glad we joined this program!

I can't say enough good things about Jamison Action Karate! My son has been attending their kids martial arts program for about a year now, and we’ve seen such a positive change in him. The instructors are so patient and truly care about each child’s progress. He loves every minute of his karate classes and has grown more confident, disciplined, and focused. They even offer birthday parties which we just booked for his 7th birthday – a Ninja Sharks-themed party! I highly recommend these karate lessons for anyone looking to get their child involved in martial arts.

My son Brody started karate when he was 3 years old. We thought he would enjoy learning karate. He had watched his older brother do karate regularly. Brody was slow to warm up to the idea. For weeks we just sat along side the mat and watched. Then slowly over time, with the gentle guidance of the amazing Action instructors, Brody became involved in class. He is now 9, working towards his junior black belt! My husband Joe, also joined karate shortly after Brody. Now my older son, Liam and Joe are working towards their second degree black belt. Brody has shown perseverance, commitment, and self discipline through his black belt journey. I feel it has helped him in school and at home. Sure there are days that he does not feel like going to do karate, but he has learned to push himself and to never give up. Furthermore, through karate, we have all established meaningful friendships individually and with other Action families.
