We are pleased to share our 2021 Summer Art Camp: Making Waves.

We are celebrating our 16th year of summer art camp!

This summer we will dive deep into a variety of mediums that we usually do not have the time and space to get creative with during the school year.

You'll see paper maché, ceramic painting, glass painting, faux embossing and mosaic on our agenda this summer. Each camp runs three mornings (Tuesday-Thursday). Each week we will complete a large scale project, but we will also have tons of side projects and drawing lessons included during that time.

This year weekly campers will receive an ART BOX, a complete art kit, filled with everything they need for the week. The best part is that all the supplies are yours to keep!

This our first time doing a camp with Kristin and Susan. They were so wonderful! All three of my children had a fabulous experience and we’re encouraged to express themselves in their pieces. My youngest is incredibly shy in new experiences and they helped her feel comfortable quickly and helped distract her from feeling upset about my dropping her off. I would definitely recommend and will be signing up again!

I am interested in the AB Fine Art Studio camp for my 9 year old daughter. What covid precautions are you taking? (SUMMER CAMP 2021: Making Waves) -

Hi, Thanks for reaching out! All our camps are held completely outside with limited attendance to allow for spacing. It will be much like last summer. We will be practicing social distancing, but will allow family and friends who registered together to sit close together. Our plan is to follow any current San Diego County guidelines given at the time of each camp. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Warmly, Kristin -
Hi there! If I sign up for the 3 day art summer camp at the physical location art class, will the 3 days cover a little of each medium or is there somewhere I can select a camp for each of the ones I’m interested in? For instance I’d like to sign my 5 year old for the mosaic surfboard, the ceramics, and the acrylic paint one. Also, what does the painting on plexiglass project look like? I’m going to sign her up for a few 3 day courses. You can contact me at 310-998-7785 or email me. I’m in Oceanside. Thanks! (SUMMER CAMP 2021: Making Waves) -

Hi there, Each camp has one main project. For example, if you sign your child up for the 3 day mosaic camp they will spend the three days working on that one big piece of art. During those same 3 days we will do lots of side projects and drawing lessons to break up the time. I Hope that helps. I am unable to attach a photo in this response spot, but I'll try to text it to the number you provided.
