Are you a NYC family hoping to expose your children to the fascinating world of art around you or to give your child an advantage in a competitive school system? Claire’s Creative Art Adventures are unique professional artist or theme-based classroom art projects that are educational AND engaging!
From ages 2-12, children are introduced to modern and contemporary artists from Matisse, Picasso, and Chagall to Jim Dine, Chuck Close and Yayoi Kusama as well as diverse cultures based on current exhibits from the myriad of NYC museums and galleries, using a wide variety of mediums and techniques including: paint, clay, wood, sand, foam, paper-mache, wire, cloth, photography, stop-motion animation and more.
The Art Adventures program goes beyond school curricula, includes visiting artists and museum trips and provides ample supplies for unique hands-on learning experiences; all while actively engaging the children in the fantastic world of art from classroom arrival to departure. “You rock with the New York skyline art project John brought home on Thursday! He particularly loved explaining to us about the pennies used as manhole covers. What a terrific project.” – S.W.
