Advanced Art Classes for Kids & Adults In-Person

I 100% recommend!! I’ve been going to this school for about 6-7 years and I’ve learned so many things!

I have been at this art school since I was 5 and am now 17! I cannot recommend this studio and teacher enough. I have learned so so much from Mrs. Wei and I owe all my artistic talent and passion to her. Her teaching is very easy to follow and learn from and I could not have asked for a better art teacher! I 1000000% recommend her!

Ms. Wei came highly recommended by my friend, and Ms Wei does not disappoint. After having both of kids assessed, we signed them up for the Intermediate classes. And in just a few short months, we have seen tremendous improvement for them both. They have recently switched to Advance class, and we are thankful for Ms. Wei's teaching and guidance.

The class is really good, my daughter loves it, and the teacher is wonderful, we highly recommend this course.

I'm a senior in high school and I've been at this school for over 9 years now. Ms. Wei (the art teacher) is the kindest and most supportive art teacher you could ever come across. She has taught and showed me that there is so much to art and it's safe to say I've never experienced a negative moment at this art school. Being here over the past few years has transformed me into the independent artist I am today where I would create my own art pieces in and out of the studio. I am so grateful to have started my artist journey here and to continue it in the future.

As a student at Asian Arts School for 10 years and counting, I highly recommend the art classes. I have to thank Ms. Wei’s teaching for expanding my artistry. Over the years, she has directed me to try new techniques outside of my comfort zone. For a while I’ve only stuck to what I knew best—shading, but never thought I could paint. Despite my initial hesitation, her guidance and encouragement led me to be more confident in my abilities to draw, and now paint. Her teaching will continue to have a lasting impact not only on my art, but the way I approach challenges with an open mind.

I have attended Asian Arts School for nearly a decade now, and it has been incredibly enriching, inspiring, and valuable. Currently in the advanced section, I am painting "creative" works, combining my own knowledge with various reference photos to build one cohesive artwork. Under Mrs. Wei's guidance––who has taught me to sketch and paint with contrast, color theory, proportion, perspective, etc.––I have been able to explore art forms beyond realism: impressionism, modernism, architecture, photography, merchandise, and more! These skills have become part of my daily life as a source of personal enjoyment, as well as in other meaningful ways, such as designing yearbooks and promoting conservation. Ultimately, I wholeheartedly recommend AAS to anyone eager to step past their comfort zone and grow as both an artist and a creative thinker.

Kind teacher and a good environment, I send my daughter every Saturday, Ms. Lin pays attention for every kid and teach them detail drawing skill. I am so glad my daughter Livia can join this class she loves every class she joined. she learns since last year and I can see she improves herself a lot, hope she keeps moving on art road. I went to Asian Arts School for as long as I can remember up until the end of high school (I'm in college now). Mrs. Wei has taught me everything I know about art. You can tell she's very passionate about it and teaches in a very genuine way. She somehow always knows the skill levels of her students and encourages them to keep pushing themselves / take risks. I trust her completely and would recommend anyone to take her art classes!

I’ve been learning arts from Ms. Wei (the art teacher) since I was 7 years old. She is a fantastic teacher and is always supportive, pushing me to be the best I can be. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot from her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher.

The studio is a very calm and chill place where you can bring you thoughts and creativity onto a piece of paper. The teacher is very patient and kind and will be there to help whenever you need help or tips.

I enrolled both my daughters into her advanced arts program for over twelve years. Mrs. Wei has taught them so much and they are now fantastic artists (my oldest even pursuing art in college).
