Good art school, I enjoyed drawing the pictures the teacher gives us to draw, I highly recommend it for those who are beginners or advanced.

I am Skyy Yee a 14-year-old 8th Grader that has been going to Asain Arts School for about 9 years and will continue attending this school as Lin Wei the teacher has taught me many things about art and has helped me improve every class, even if it is only by a small margin. The school not only teaches how to draw, paint and create art it also teaches the history of art and several master artists. Wei Laoshi is always there to help us or correct us whenever it seems we may be stuck or troubled. She also never tries to pressure us to 'perfecting' a piece if we don't really enjoy it. Overall Asian Arts School has been a big part of my life and has made art a very important subject to me. I recommend this school for anyone that simply wants to get into art, improve their current skills, or even just want to try it out.

I highly recommend checking out Asian Art School! Although classes are held virtually due to the pandemic, I find that each session I attend is an escape from reality and a safe environment to be creative. Teacher Lin Wei and her amazing group of dedicated teacher assistance made sure to prioritize every student's potential to grow and excel in their artistic skills. The studio is an environment where students learn from the teachers and peers to be inspired to diverge into their individual style. That is why there are often engaging activities the studio hosts such as art galleries, live portrait drawing sessions, art competitions, outside landscape drawing.
When I was planning to audition for San Francisco's Ruth Asawa School of the Art (SOTA) high school, Mrs. Wei gave helpful tips in finalizing my art portfolio, which ultimately got me into the completive school.
