Teen Drawing

If you are a NYC teen who is  passionate about art, creativity, and self-expression, this art class is a perfect fit for you! In this small-sized, personalized art class, teens will learn artistic techniques in painting, drawing and mixed-media art while developing their own unique artistic style. With personalized one-on-one instruction and attention from a professional artist educator in our non-judgmental, encouraging art studio, students will create artwork with materials including graphite drawing, color pastels, watercolors, collage, and painting on canvas. While experimenting with a wide range of subject matter including portraits, figures, abstraction, art journaling, landscapes and more, artists will discover what inspires them most. While practicing new and exciting artistic techniques, including 3D effect, shading, proportions, composition, palette knife texture, blending and personal expression, each artist will create artwork that releases the artist within.
