Kids in this inspiring, fear-free and non-judgemental art class will explore and practice a wide variety of comics, cartoon and manga drawing techniques, including line quality, dimension, storyboarding, facial features, text bubbles, figures in motion, how to capture facial and body expression, communicating feeling and mood, storytelling through drawing, personal style, animals such as stylized lions, dogs, birds, exotic wild life, self-created creatures, and more. Artists will create their very own comic strips and develop their own unique human and animal characters!
In this engaging, inspiring comics, cartoons, and manga drawing art class for kids and teens in NYC, participants will:
