A.D. Players Performing Arts Academy

Spring Performance Class was our first foray into acting for my 6 year old. He absolutely loved his class and his teachers, especially Mr. Justin! Kim Beck was great at managing all the little details. I noted my son's seriousness about learning his lines and following the stage directions given to him. While the performances were virtual (understandably due to the pandemic), the production quality was great. My son was excited to be able to watch the performances the next day since the online link was still active - a nice perk to consider in the future! After the performance, his only question was, "When can I go back?" Looking forward to the summer options.

We are fortunate to have such an incredible offering that is inclusive of all children. The staff is extremely supportive and encouraging. They provide feedback for them to each improve whilst playing on their strengths. Theatre is such a great tool for children to communicate, it improves their self esteem and self confidence, so for AD Players to provide this opportunity is a blessing! My daughter loves how they incorporate dance and music and she even plays the violin from time to time, again utilizing her strengths; she feels "like a star"! We were thrilled when they opened during the pandemic utilizing the most optimum health and safety protocols. Thanks to Kim Beck and her staff for having such patience and helping our children thrive through theatre!

My girls love everything about the Academy! My youngest is biting at the bit to get back into classes after her experience with summer camp. She loved learning about various aspects of theatre and getting to perform at the end of the week. My older girls truly blossomed in their Musical Theatre Choreography class. They continually talk about the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that is balanced with high expectations. They enjoyed being challenged, but having fun while doing it and look forward to their next class!

I cannot say enough good things about AD Players. This place has been a blessing on our family. Not only do they have EXCELLENT programing but they truly care about the kids here.

We drive 45+ mins to get to AD Players and there is a reason for that. We have tried many other theatre programs and none of them compare to AD Players. I really feel they work to develop skills. This is not just a fun activities babysitting program.
My daughter has taken multiple classes in acting and musical theatre and at the end of each they give a very honest evaluation form with what she is doing well at and what needs to be improved.
Also during COVID times they have taken ALL the precautions to bring the kids back to campus safely.
My daughter squeals with excitement each time we tell her that she is signed up for a new class here and the time dedication to getting her to and from class is never wasted.

We just love A.D. Players Performing Arts Academy! From the first class to a camp last summer (masks and all!), the Academy does everything well and within the best interest of the kids! My daughter especially loved her time with the Aspiring Artists program. The focus on nurturing the young artist and giving them tools to take into future opportunities in theater is a testament to the professional standards they hold for even the youngest of artists. We truly love the staff and always look forward to the next opportunity to be at the Academy!
