In the Advance Lego Robotics Camp, students will design, build, program, and test robots to complete various tasks, respond to environmental changes, and compete in tournaments. The LEGO SPIKE Prime and Expansion Set helps to bring technology, science, and computer programming to life with hands-on, project-based STEM learning. The SPIKE Prime continuously engages students through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level. From easy-entry projects to limitless creative design possibilities, SPIKE Prime will help students learn the essential STEAM and 21st-century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow, all while having fun!
The curriculum is designed to polish students' STEM skills by helping them apply engineering design skills at each step of the design process. They will develop efficient problem-solving and coding skills through the decomposition of problems and algorithmic thinking. They will also apply critical thinking and develop life skills for the careers of tomorrow.
Classmates will work in pairs or individually to complete projects and compete in a tournament. This Camp and Curriculum is designed to help children prepare for First Lego League (FLL) competitions. The course will focus on the engineering design process, building, and programming using SPIKE Prime. The students will work on similar missions and tables like the First Lego League.
If you desire a half-day camp (9-12:00), you can register for the Half-day Robotics Camp only.
